What is 7th Path Self-Hypnosis®?

7th Path Self-Hypnosis® is taught to you by a teacher who teaches you how to go into hypnosis on your own. You don’t have to tell anyone about your past, problem or change you’d like to make. The work is done completely within yourself.

7th Path® is a special form of self-hypnosis combining the mind, body & spirit. It encourages you to incorporate your own highest spiritual or philosophical beliefs, inviting wisdom & insight into the process.

The system works to first deprogram your mind, neutralizing those old programs & beliefs that have been holding you back. It finds limiting beliefs & painful emotions from the past which the practitioner may or may not be aware of that are causing problems in his or her life & neutralizes them automatically.

Once some neutralizing, deprograming or ‘emptying of the cup’ has been accomplished the practitioner can then use the system to reprogram themselves to make just about any kind of improvement that they want to make in life. Examples: feeling more confident, having deeper self-respect, feeling happier & more positive, being free from unproductive habits, addictions & compulsions.

The practitioner dedicates time each morning & afternoon to the practice, as well as a short period before going to sleep. How is 7th Path Self-Hypnosis® different from all the others?

One of the problems with other forms of self hypnosis is that the hypnotic suggestions that you give yourself must go up against years of old programming. The old programming does not want to go & the new suggestions are rejected time & time again. Through many repetitions, the new suggestions are finally accepted – or maybe not even then. Neutralizing the old programming first helps to avoid this & tends to make the new suggestions more powerful. In addition, sometimes, when you remove the old programming you just start to feel better, even without additional hypnotic suggestions.

7th Path® is not done with headphones or reinforcement tapes. The work is done completely within yourself. Once learned you can use it any time, any where.

How can an approach aimed at your mind affect your body?

The body responds physically to thoughts. For example, when we think a frightening thought, we can experience increased heart rate, shortness of breath, ‘butterflies’ in the stomach, muscular rigidity, sweating, shaking & so on. Similarly, when we think a pleasurable thought, we can experience reduced heart rate, deeper breathing, relaxation of muscles & so on. These are our autonomic nervous system (the nonconscious mind) responses that are involuntary, but they can be utilized to promote health. When hypnotized, an individual is very open to suggestions that can enhance positive & diminish negative physical reactions.
